1st Business Delegation to Eastern Europe

A trial delegation was carried out — with just one participant representing Hong Kong market interests. The purpose was simple yet significant: to explore firsthand the opportunities for cooperation between Hong Kong and Belarus.

The journey included a visit to Kommunarka, one of Belarus’ most renowned confectionery producers, offering a glimpse into the country’s consumer goods sector.

The delegate also attended the Innoprom exhibition, where innovation and industrial potential were on full display, highlighting Belarus’ ambition to expand its role in global trade.

A key stop was the Great Stone Industrial Park, where discussions centered on how Hong Kong could establish stronger industrial ties. Great Stone, often described as Belarus’ hub for international cooperation, provided a clear picture of the possibilities for long‑term engagement.

Finally, the trip included a visit to a museum, underscoring the importance of cultural understanding alongside industrial exploration.

Though modest in scale, this trial trip proved invaluable. It demonstrated that even a single representative can uncover meaningful opportunities, laying the groundwork for future delegations and deeper cooperation between Hong Kong and Belarus.
